Clariane launches Oxygen, its social and psychological support programme for all professionals

Clariane Group

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Clariane is launching Oxygen, a programme designed to ensure that all of its professionals across its six countries can access training, listening and support. Nadège Plou, Clariane Group Chief Human Resources Officer, explains the programme’s ambitions.

Taking care of those who care for others

Care and support professions are demanding and require a strong level of commitment. Every day, Clariane employees care for people, support them and are there for patients, residents and their families, including during what can sometimes be difficult moments.

So we can continue taking care of others, it’s essential that we can access support ourselves when we need it.

Nadège Plou, Clariane Group Chief Human Resources Officer, presents the Oxygen programme.

For several years now, the Group has offered a range of support solutions to its teams. With Oxygen, Clariane is taking a further step by bringing them together within its first European social and psychological support programme.

Oxygen is built around three pillars: training, listening and support.

  • Training, to help employees recognise difficult situations and better protect themselves;
  • Listening, through dedicated helplines and trusted contacts within our facilities;
  • Support, from social workers thanks to the solidarity fund, alongside mediation, coaching and mentoring measures.

A programme for all Clariane professionals

Oxygen is aimed at all of our professionals across our six countries. Because difficulties don’t stop when you leave work, the programme also supports employees who may be experiencing personal difficulties.

Why “Oxygen”?

“Because, at some point in our lives, we all need a chance to catch our breath,” explains Nadège Plou. “Oxygen is a way of taking care of ourselves so that we can continue to care for others.”

With Oxygen, Clariane is putting its mission – to care for each person’s humanity in times of vulnerability – into practice for its own teams as well.
