Present in Belgium since 2005, the Clariane Group has developed a comprehensive range of services for older people and vulnerable individuals, combining medicalised nursing homes, home care services and alternative living solutions. Through its expert brand Korian, the Group is now the leading private operator of care and support for older people in the country.
Our activities in Belgium
In Belgium, Clariane mainly operates through its Korian brand, which manages a network of medicalised nursing homes across the country. The Group also provides home care and home assistance services through Korian Home Care and Cura Services, as well as paramedical equipment through Orthoshop by Korian. This integrated offering enables Clariane to support older and vulnerable people according to their needs, both at home and in care facilities.

Long-term Care
In Belgium, the Group operates under the Korian brand with 110 medicalised nursing homes offering various types of accommodation (long stays, short stays). Residents’ autonomy is paramount: they themselves define what is important for them. These facilities also offer convalescence rooms and outpatient care centres that encourage social
interaction and recreational activities.
Shared living solutions include assisted-living residences (which are sometimes associated with nursing homes) for people who are independent, but who like to be able to benefit from services and assistance when needed. The Ramen en Poel residence in Ghent and the Sint-Lenaertshof residence in Brecht also have apartments specially equipped and with services adapted for people recovering from illness.
Two domiciliary care services brands complete the Group's offering in Belgium: Korian Home Care offers a complete cleaning service, and Cura Services provides help with everyday tasks (appointments with solicitors, lawyers, insurance companies, moving house, discharge from hospital).
Specialty Care
Korian Home Care and Cura provide home nursing services for short or long periods, regardless of the patient’s age. Korian Home Care also provides postnatal care at home.
In addition, Clariane distributes paramedical and medical equipment through Orthoshop by Korian.
