Clariane hosts the first Geroscience Meetings on January 14, 2026, at the French National Academy of Medicine
On 14 January 2026, at the French National Academy of Medicine (Paris 6th), Clariane will host the first edition of the Geroscience Meetings, a full day of discussions dedicated to rethinking ageing. This unique event will bring together researchers, clinicians and experts to explore how geroscience and the latest medical advances can promote a later life that is more active, more autonomous and healthier. Developed in partnership with the Toulouse University Hospital Institute (IHU), this event reflects a strong commitment to research and innovation for healthy ageing.
Meeting Programs
The day will revolve around four main roundtables:
- Physical activity and nutrition: building the foundations of healthy ageing
- Ageing and society: what trajectories for tomorrow?
- Memory, vision, hearing: preserving core functions in later life
- Mental health and ageing: a crucial yet often overlooked dimension

To shed light on these key issues, several distinguished experts will take part, including:
- Prof. Sylvie Bonnin-Guillaume, geriatrician.
- Julien Damon, sociologist and Associate Professor at Sciences Po.
- Prof. Antoine Piau, geriatrician and Clariane’s Chief Medical, Ethics & Health Innovation Officer.
- Thomas Rapp, Professor of Health Economics, Université Paris Cité.
- Prof. Bruno Vellas, Head of the Geriatrics-Gerontology Department at the University Hospital (CHU) of Toulouse and Coordinator of the Gerontopole.
