Making information easier to access and supporting resident follow-up
Phone calls, nurse calls, care handovers, care traceability, maintenance requests and internal information: Koala gives professionals access to the main tools they need throughout the day from a single device.
The aim is to reduce duplicate data entry and certain administrative tasks, make information easier to share, and limit the time spent searching for data.
These uses can also support resident follow-up: easier access to shared information helps improve coordination between professionals and continuity of care and support.
New uses of artificial intelligence
Koala continues to evolve in response to needs identified in the field. An AI-powered voice assistant is currently being tested to make it easier to record certain care data, such as weight, blood glucose levels or professional observations.
In the context of older people’s care, these digital tools can therefore help simplify teams’ everyday work, improve access to information relevant to follow-up, and free up more time to spend with residents.
Developed by Clariane with professionals working in care facilities, Koala continues to evolve based on real-world use and the needs expressed by care teams.
