Pierre Maitrot joined Clariane in January 2025 as Managing Director of Inicea to oversee the new division bringing together the group’s healthcare facilities (medical, post-acute & rehabilitation care and mental health). He has been a member of Clariane’s Executive Management Committee since September 2025.
Pierre Maitrot is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the École nationale d’administration (ENA). He began his career in 2005 in the civil service, in the Ministry of Finance and then in the Ministry of the Interior, where he held various responsibilities for thirteen years, in central administration, in the regions and in the ministerial cabinet. In particular, he served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Finance (2012-2013) and Deputy Director of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of the Interior (2013-2017).
In 2019, he joined the Elsan group, a leader in private hospitals, first as Director of Public Affairs to the President and member of the Executive Committee, then as Deputy Director of Operations from 2022. Between 2021 and 2024, he also chaired the legal committee of the Federation of Private Hospitals (FHP).
With this dual track record in the public sector and within a large health group, Pierre Maitrot is now leading Inicea’s development, with the aim of creating higher quality and more customised care pathways in psychiatry and rehabilitation.
