A European ceremony to celebrate Clariane University graduates
On 21 November 2025, Clariane celebrated its employees who graduated from its University with its first Europe-wide ceremony. More than 3,000 graduates from the care, services, management and digital & innovation academies were in the limelight at the unprecedented ceremony – a high point bringing our teams together to celebrate career progression.
Training at the heart of our company vision
Training and skills development are a central pillar of our company vision. Since Clariane University was founded in 2023, 12% of our employees have taken part in skills training or a diploma course, illustrating our desire to support everyone’s professional development, regardless of their role or country.
Clariane University is structured around four academies – Care, Hospitality & Services, Management & Leadership and Digital & Innovation – that encompass all of our training programmes. In each country, the courses are tailored to local needs, support career paths and promote sustainable career steps.
Apprentices, APEL and internal promotion: supporting each journey
Apprenticeships, launched in 2020 with the creation of a dedicated care sector apprentice training centre, and accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL) are two key drivers of this strategy.
In France, 27% of apprentices come from disadvantaged priority urban areas, and since 2022, APEL is accessible to future caregivers on fixed-term contracts, paving the way for more inclusion and opportunities.
Our internal promotion policy is also continuing to grow: more than half of facility manager positions were filled internally in 2025, with an ambitious goal of reaching 80% in the coming years.
The WAYS and MEOS programmes directly support this ambition:
• WAYS builds managerial skills and servant leadership through personalised pathways.
• MEOS, a diploma course dedicated to facility management, prepares employees for management responsibilities.
By developing skills and supporting professional development, these programmes help prepare our employees for the responsibilities of tomorrow.
Behind every diploma, there is a pathway, a commitment, a desire to progress. Our role is to make these journeys possible and create an environment where everyone can learn, grow and thrive. This ceremony is a wonderful example of this.
A meaningful first Europe-wide ceremony
This first Europe-wide ceremony marks an important step: it reaffirms Clariane University’s goal of allowing everyone to learn, grow and thrive while strengthening mobility and internal promotion within the Group
