Joëlle Hélénon appointed Head of the Clariane University
Clariane announces the appointment of Joëlle Hélénon as Head of Clariane University, where she will be responsible for leading the Group’s training and skills development policies.
Joëlle Hélénon, formerly Deputy Chief of Staff to Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, Minister of Labour and Employment, has recognised expertise in the field of training. She previously served as Deputy Director for Education and Training at the French Employers’ Association (Mouvement des Entreprises de France - MEDEF), then as Director of Training and Health & Safety at the National Federation of Public Works (2024), and later as Chief of Staff at the High Commission for Vocational Education and Training (2024).
Strengthening the ambition of Clariane University
In 2025, more than 7,000 of the Group’s employees - 12% of its workforce - will follow degree-awarding programmes through the University or in partnership with leading schools and universities, while 50% of care and healthcare facilities directors come from internal training programmes.
Clariane University, established at the end of 2023, oversees all of the Group’s degree-awarding, certification, and qualification pathways, structured around four academies: Care, Hospitality & Services, Management & Leadership, and Digital & Innovation.
As Head of Clariane University, Joëlle Hélénon will be responsible for expanding the range of degree-awarding training programmes in each of the Group’s six countries (Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain).
