Clariane Mental Health Innovation Days 2025 at the WeMind International Forum in Barcelona
Clariane is today hosting in Barcelona the fourth edition of the Clariane Innovation Days. This event dedicated to mental health is taking place at the heart of the WeMind International Forum, focused on neurosciences, mental health innovation and healthy ageing. This partnership provides an exceptional setting and reflects Clariane’s ambition: to assert its role as a leading European actor in psychiatric innovation.
Since their inception, the Clariane Innovation Days have become an unmissable scientific event. After a first edition in France in 2024 dedicated to robotic rehabilitation, a second in Spain the same year focused on mental health, and a third in Italy in September 2025 centred on neuromodulation, this new edition in Barcelona confirms the Group’s European momentum and its commitment to a modern, open and collaborative psychiatry.
This mobilisation is all the more essential as the latest indicators on mental health in Europe are worrying. According to the recent Eurobarometer survey published in October 2023¹, 46% of Europeans report having experienced an emotional or psychosocial issue - depression, anxiety or another disorder - over the past twelve months. Even more alarming: one in two people affected did not seek help from a healthcare professional.
International experts gathered to analyse developments in diagnosis and care pathways in mental health
The day will open with two plenary sessions. The first, led by Dr Eduard Vieta and Dr María Isabel Arguello, will explore new perspectives in precision medicine in psychiatry, particularly the role of inflammatory processes in mental disorders. The second, presented by Dr Aaron Winkler and Dr Amine Benyamina, will offer a renewed perspective on diagnosing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults, through a patient-centred approach.
The afternoon will continue with a series of thematic sessions. Anne-Charlotte Dymny, Group Chief Information Technology Officer and Chair of Clariane Spain, and Prof. Antoine Piau, Group Chief Medical, Ethics and Health Innovation Officer at Clariane, will speak about the key challenges of innovation in healthcare.
With this new edition of the Clariane Innovation Days at the 2025 WeMind Forum, Clariane reaffirms its leadership in shaping the future of the mental-health care ecosystem and reiterates its ongoing commitment to science-based, person-centred innovation.
