A quality strategy based on continuous improvement

Since 2019, Clariane has rolled out an ISO 9001 certification strategy across all of its countries of operation. Awarded by independent certification bodies, this certification gives an expert, objective, external overview of the Group’s quality management system.

At the end of 2025, 99% of Clariane’s nursing homes were ISO 9001 certified, illustrating the Group’s commitment to regularly evaluating and improving its practices and ensuring a high level of quality for the benefit of residents, patients and their relatives.

In France, in addition to this strategy there are external ratings undertaken by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS). When the initial results of the new national benchmark for the rating of social and medico-social institutions and services (ESSMS) were published, in September 2025, 95% of the Korian long-term care nursing homes rated were given a score of A or B, compared to 60% for all facilities rated in France.

This trend aligns fully with the company project Succeed together (2026-2028), in which quality of care is the Group’s principal distinctive hallmark. It is built on the teams’ expertise, a rigorous quality management system and a culture of continuous improvement, enabling the care and support provided to be increasingly personalised, ethical and tailored to the needs of each individual.
