Clariane certified Top Employer Europe 2024 - a first for the Group and a source of collective pride for its teams!

Clariane Group

This year, Clariane received the Top Employer Europe 2024 award from the Top Employers Institute and thus became the first group in the healthcare and medico-social sector to be certified at European level. This certification reflects the Clariane Group's commitment to making every effort to achieve top employer status in terms of working conditions, and to being attentive and caring to each and every one of its employees.

Five countries in the Group certified Top Employer 2024

In 2024, no fewer than five of the Group’s seven countries obtained Top Employer certification: Germany for the fourth year running, France for the third year running, Belgium and Italy for the second year running and the United Kingdom for the first time ever.

What is Top Employer?

Top Employer is a certification awarded by the international organization Top Employers Institute, which recognizes excellence in a company’s HR practices. Each year, participating companies (including Clariane) can be awarded certification based on their performance in the HR Best Practices Survey.

This survey is based on a questionnaire that identifies some 350 HR practices divided into six main areas (managing, organizing, attracting, developing, engaging and bringing people together). In total, 20 themes are addressed, including talent management strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, training and skills development, well-being at work, and diversity and inclusion.

Our priority: caring about the carers

Clariane is the leading European provider of healthcare and care services for fragile people, placing people at the heart of its HR strategy.

We deeply value our teams commitment to our shared mission of “taking care of each person's humanity in times of vulnerability”, and we are eager to care about the carers - our employees.

This is why obtaining this international certification at group level is recognition of the fundamental work carried out since 2019 by HR teams and employee representative bodies, to:

  • provide daily support to our facilities in recruitment, training and the promotion of health and safety in the workplace;
  • build channels of courses leading to qualifications through the Clariane University network;
  • promote high-quality social dialogue.

For us, symmetry of attention is of the utmost importance; it's by taking care of our employees that we can ensure that our patients and residents get the support they need.
